Tasting

2015 is our 40th vintage and what a wondrous vintage it was: bountiful early summer rain followed by a beautiful warm late summer and early autumn. Perfect ripening conditions.

The Viognier is typically generous with ripe stone-fruit, musk and ginger aromas and the classic flavour packed palate.

Delicious on release but will age with interest for 5 to 8 years.

Reviews

Impressive aromatic concentration and a wealth of white apricot, white musk, super pure, hints of ginger and almond milk too.

viognier at its finest

The palate has impressive supple fruit flesh; it's rich but not oily. There's a gently flinty edge and a very impressive airy lightness; such is the precisely judged balance here. Viognier at its finest! Drink now.

Nutty aromas at first, reminding of slivered almonds.

a truly superb viognier

It's rich and complex, already delivering an array of superb aromas including spices and apricot. Full-bodied; a truly superb viognier.

Viognier can be ugly, but this Canberra example is

classical and sophisticated

Musky florals, stone fruits, honey and chicken soup aromas lead into a refined palate.
